Nuss-Kaiserschmarrn
Easy, traditional and basic dish one has to know in Vienna.
Hey dear Readers, I know I've been slacking on the blog.... Instagram (@Miamnamina) is as active as always. I had another cooking session in the company Informance Media again - this time I made some Nut Kaiserschmarrn. A very basic and traditional Viennese dish.Ingredients:
200g grinded walnuts
5 eggs
200g flour
baking powder

sugar to your liking
50g melted butter
350ml Milk
1. Separate the eggs, and beat the eggwhites until they can stand on their own. put them in the fridge.
2. beat the yolks with one Tablespoon sugar until it has a light orange color and got thicker. Add the butter, milk and sugar.
3. Mix everything - add the flour piece by piece with the nuts. If the dough is too hard, add more flour or water.
4. Last but not least, you merely have to slowly mix the eggwhites under the dough. Dont destroy the fluffiness by beating it, rather lift the dough and stir it softly. Know what I mean?
5. Now its time to bake it out in a pan. Are you satisfied with the result? I hope so.
