Homemade Salmon - Guacamole Burgers
If you like homemade burgers and want to try something different, skip going to McDonalds and whip this quick recipe up.
Ingredients:
400g smoked Salmon
2 eggs
1-2 EL breadcrumbs
2 EL Flaxseeds
2 small onions
Oregano, salt, pepper
two avocados
4 garlic cloves
salt
enough lemon juice
Cheese, mayo and ketchup.
1. Start off by mashing the smoked salmon in a bowl. Cut the onions in tiny pieces and throw it to the salmon. Add spices and eggs. Mix well. Finish it by adding the flaxseeds and dry ingredients
2. Now its time to get it smokin'. Meaning: forn patties and bake them side to side. You can decide whether to make warm or cold patties. I opted for the hot variety.
3. Heat the buns in the oven, spread a mix of soysauce, ketchup and mayo onto it. Drape a piece of lettuce on the bottom half, add one patty and top off with cheese and piece of avocado. Close the burger.
4. If youve decided to make the guacamole separately then I advise you to mash two ripe avocados. Mix four pressed garlic cloves and lemon juice and tada. You have your own guacamole.
Overall this meal wont take you more than thirty minutes. So say what again? ^^
