Stuffed grillchicken

Another cooking session at work

This time the occasion was the birthday of four colleagues - me being one of them. It is a rather easy recipe and just spends most of its time in the oven. I made a strudel and a cake in addition.




Ingredients:
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 l milk
  • 1/2 pkg of dried squared buns (Semmelwürfel)
  • parsley
  • salt
  • bbq flavoring
You start of by mixing the egg with milk, parsley and the buns - add so much milk/water or an egg that it grows soft and soaks with it. Let it rest.
In the meantime you rub the chicken in with the spices - put it in a dish, now stuff the filling into it and bake the breast part (the thicker one) first at 200 degrees in the oven.

Pour water over it in between and switch the chicken to the other side when you've reached 45 min. It depends on the size how long the chicken takes to be full cooked through; however you may estimate close to an hour.
